Yes, I know I promised Woodstock, but that will have to wait another week. It's Witchy's surprise birthday party (No spilling the beans -- she never reads this; she just asks me) at Jal's Sanctuary. Dress up formally. I've put up free tuxes and ballgowns at the NN-Wellstone Free Store. We'll dance the night away to the fine DJing of Rocky the Yakspinner. Dick will be banned. May or may not do a contest, what do you all think? Wotchy will arrive between 9 and 10 SLT (that's 6am or 7am her time). The Health of Our Oceans
Planet Thoughts Environmental/Green group will present Delia Lake, speaking on the topic "The Health of Our Oceans". The talk and discussion will be centered on what we should know, why we should care, and what we can do. Delia Lake is the founder of the group All About Water, and owner of the Center for Water Studies on Better World island, with its re-creation of multiple biomes such as ocean, wetland, rainforest, and others. She speaks frequently in Second Life about water as it relates to life on the planet.
When you arrive there, it is necessary to click on the sign for "Center for Water Studies" to get to the specific meeting place.
