6 Degrees of Human Rights - Discussion
What really separates us from other people?  How are our goals in life so different than that of other individuals on this planet?  Really, we all want the same things; we want our families to be healthy and happy, we want to have enough to eat, and a roof over our head.  However, how some people define getting to this place is vastly different

Zath's Album Cafe - Spider" John Koerner and Willie Murphy--Running, Jumping, Standing Still
"Do you feel like an outcast?  Like somehow your life has been miscast?"
In 1967, Minnesota blues legends Koerner and Murphy collabarated to create a joyously unique, psychedelically-tinged folk-blues masterpiece, Running, Jumping, Standing Still.  Rescued from obscurity by a remastered 1994 anniversary edition with a bonus track, this classic still holds up 41 years after its initial release.  Come to the Cafe Wellstone to dance to this album plus DJ Zathras' usual eclectic mix.

Deconstructing Conformation Bias - Discussion
How can we be critical when looking into horizon of a new era? Regardless of hope, we must continue to stay critical of those in power.  A new administration does not mean we can just sit back and not be active in our future.

7 pm

It's Friday at the Moose Jaw
Shini has decided to skip the music this week and spin some old comedy. The economy and Iraq..Not funny! But this week, Morey Amsterdam and Bob Newhart…they are funny! Get your giggles on and join us. For those who don’t know Morey, check wiki out with the below link. I will be playing this album Mixed up stories for Smart Kids, my all time favorite children’s album, and now, and extremely rare album to even locate. It took 3 years for me to find, and was discovered in a collection of albums an old English gentleman had, rotting away in his York apartment.
So come on down. This will be the last show for a little while sadly as I am going out of town the following week.
